Hello,
I recently purchased Compu Live and the corresponding USB-to-DMX converter box. I also bought some sweet Elation Opti RGB LED cans that I plan on controlling with this software.
Thus far, though, I have been unsuccessful. When I try to add the LED lights using the steps described in the Instruction Manual (add a new Page & select the light from the library, etc.), I get all the way to the last step and then the computer freezes. The hour glass icon just sits there, and eventually I'm forced to reboot.
Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening? I'm using Windows 7 32-bit, could that be the problem? Everything I have read thus far indicates that it should work fine with Win7.
I am using the "Sept 29 2009" version of Compu Live 2006, which I downloaded from Elation's web site.
Thanks in advance for any help.
