I was just browsing through the elation site and noticed an update from September 29. We are using the Compu 1024EC software/dongle. Is this update for our software? If so, how do I install it?

It is the update you can use. I have just installed it.
Back up your shows for safety and then just install over the existing install. It should work just fine.

you can install it and it will rewrite itself over your current version. or you can create a new directory.
when you install it you will be show the directory of SL2006 but if you add a date to that example SL2006 0929 then it will install a new version of the software and not interupt what you are currently using.

Like usual we do not get that info. but I have heard some people say it performs better than the previous version. There are no new features added to this version. But i ca say for sure i have seen better performance when using the software on my machine.

Sorry Bro, not this year. I am on the process of retrofitting a club and trying to build a cabin at the same time...hopefully next year!
