Hey There-

I have the Compu Live Software installed on a Windows 7 Laptop. I also have the 1024 EC via USB plugged in. It seems to be passing DMX. I have a Chauvet Colorado 1 connected to it and it is receiving dmx signal. When I try to create a new page I get to Step 2/9 and the "shortcuts" and "keyboard mode" entry fields are greyed out and will not let me enter values in to them. Thus I cannot continue to the next pages of the Scanlibrary Wizard. Any ideas here???

Thanks-

Bryan B.

Hi Bryan. Welcome to the forums.
Those are greyed out because the software is waiting for you to tell it what starting address to give the fixture and how many fixtures you are patching. So you must first enter in the starting address of the 1st Colorado 1 and then where it says number of fixtures enter in how many of the same Colorado 1's you have. It is best to patch multiple fixtures in one page as long as they are the same make and model. So if you have 4 of the 1's then enter in 4 for the number of fixtures. That will allow you to continue patching them. also it is recommend to leave the rest of the steps as default.
Sincerely,
Sorry it's been so long. I had to put the software down for a bit and use other things. But--

I am using the preinstalled library, and tried using the network connected, but the software wll not let me select (check the box) of the chauvet colorado 1. Version date is Dec 13 2010

I am using an HP Mini laptop with Windows 7 Starter. An compu 1024ec and I am planning on syncing a Behringer BCF2000 if I can get the compulive software to function..

Thanks-

Bryan
