So I was the one that had bought the Comup live and tried to install with windows 7. For those that did not know, yeppers the 1024 is not compatable with the 64 bit tht win 7 offers. Went to the Pawn shop and got a Dell with WinXP (for only $60.) and everything is working fine! Hooray! Thanks Jingles for your help! When I have the $$ for the unpgrade to the Dongle, however, I will do it. NOW, my problem is trying to download fixture .ssl files from off line. I have 4 Chauvet Colorstrip minis and I can't get the files off the "new Page", Explore tab, for the Scan Library. I Know I'm a "newbie" but so far the software is great and simple to use.

So I'ma "Dweeb", too. Just found your Downloads on the Elation Pages and sure enough, there is your newer library. Lights are up and working! Now if I can only find the one for an Elation DP-415 Pak, I would be in there. Using this for some Par Cans and Non-dmx effect lights. Where am I missing it??

Just use a generic profile like singe channel or par 36,56, or 64. These are all single channel profiles and replicate basically the individual channels for a switch/dimmer pack.

Really love this software. I am learning it more and more and it is working out great. I can bring a new show to even my smallest events and especially weddings with simplicity. Thanks for all yoour help. I am having an issue with the 3-D. The Demo all of a sudden stopped, starting up on start up of the program. I'll figure it out. I have put quite a few hours on it an that is what it takes with any new software/program. Again, Thanks for your help an quick responses.
