Frst question, is this possible? If so, what is the best way to connect to avoid trouble with signal strength? Once I have connected, will the system simply plug and play? I know that when addressing fixtures on the board vs the software, the board uses 16 channels per fixture whereas the software only uses 8. Would this cause problems. Are there any other suggestions out there to get a controller going with the software? Thanks in advance!

oh when you launch the software does it say suite2FC or something like that? Sounds like you have one of our Compu Show or Cue interfaces. If this is so you will need a adapter as the 5 pin out is actually to split up two universes. so your interface can support 3 DMX universe outs as well as i think 1 or more dmx in puts. These are new interfaces We/I and still learning them. Let me get back to you.
Sincerely,
Yes it says 1SUITE 2FC. Yeah, its just hard for me to keep my eyes over the computer keyboard all the time, and having to use the shift key and all that to get the extra hot keys out of it is kind of annoying, but totally works. I just want to be able to either use my other Elation board in conjuction with the software, or find another controller well suited for being basically a bank of scenes and switches. I dunno, call me crazy but there is something about having actual hardware to use that just makes me more comfortable SmilerThe other potential problem I see is that when using the software, the channel increments on the lights are every 8 channels, whereas on the board, its every 16. And the board also only supports 8 fixtures, so if the channels run over that limit, then what?
