Complicated Scene Creation

Compulive is totally awesome but You kinda have to really think of how you get the desired effect you want.

I have thought about these two scenes I wanted to create, and am not sure how to. Is there a way you can create a chase while the lights are moving (like say side to side).
2nd Scene. Having my American DJ Mega Pixel fade up to White (in about a second) the fade about a second and My American DJ scanners moving around the Room (which I figured the last part of it moving by using the Effects Generator Smiler ).

Any suggestions would be awesome and Steak Dinners for everyone!!!!!
