Okay, question for the general public or whomever would like to respond (*cough* Jingles!)

I'm still fighting the lack of fade time control on the 192. I've learned to accept the limitations, and program around it. However... the 192 has the ability to apply the fade time to ALL or ONLY, meaning the fade time will apply to every channel on a fixture, or only the PAN/TILT channels. I like the ability to have it ONLY apply to the pan and tilt, which makes color and gogo changes instant, while the pan and tilt scroll smoothly from one scene to the next. Right now, if I change scenes with ALL mode on, then the color wheels scroll slowly as well as the patterns, and the end result is a bunch of out of place colors and patterns while the fixtures are moving. This makes simple scene changes WAY too busy in my book.

My problem is this... in ONLY mode, only fixture #1 responds to this mode. Every other fixture (2 thru 4) respond to the new scene instantly. While I want the colors and gobos to do this, I do NOT want the pan and tilt to react this way. Anyone else have this issue?

The end result looks like this.. I change the scene, and fixtures 2-4 move instantly to the new scene, while fixture 1 putts along and eventually catches up. If I turn the fade setting to ALL, everything moves in synch perfectly. (although unwanted colors/patterns)

I have tried to clear the joystick pan/tilt assignments, reprogram them to each fixture individually, etc... and I'm out of ideas, so here I am.

HELP, please.

Thanks,
Manford

wow. i forgot about that all or only feature. i had always used ALL. where do you change the ALL to ONLY. it has been awhile since i used the op and mine i broke a long time ago! lol. so i dont use it anymore. i want to say try turning on all the fixtures u want on ONLY when you assign it to ONLY. let me dig around the manual and i will try to get back to you. kinda busy today. sincerely,
Jingles,

Two things I've done to work around this issue at the moment...

Minimize the amount of color/pattern changes on the chases I'm using. Pretty simple fix, but somewhat limiting.

Check out my other current post: Request for basic newbie info...
I elaborate in that one about how I'm now able to overide the Fade time on the fly. This will help during scene changes when there is no music, and I need snappy response from the scenes.

Hang loose,
Manford
