I have several of the Chauvet COLORband RGBs and besides having to creat a profile (best I could as being new to all this) When I look at the easy view 3D it just shows a "colored" bar no projected light. There are 24 individual lights on that bar I would like to see how it colors that wall when I am working in 3D

Thanks in advance!

The reason why they don't show up is all you will get one one big beam coming out of the strip in the 3D. The 3D does not have the ability to display more than one beam output in the same 3D object. Our 3D isn't as advanced as say, WYSIWYG.
Sorry. I know we are working on the 3D but I am not sure when this type of function could be supported.
Sincerely,
Like Jingles said, you can't get this to work correctly out of the box.

However, if you're really just looking for the beamage, you can patch the visualizer with a different fixture to give you the beam.

Make a 3 channel RGB personality.
Make it a conventional type.
Make it a Changer.
Adjust the dimensions to get what you want.

Patch 1 of these in for each 'pixel' of your bar and place them next to each other.

The conventionals and the movers are the only fixture object types that show beam as far as I can tell.

When you are moving things around in viz. you can grab a group of objects, say pixels to make up a bar, and use the last tab in the editor window, it is a group tool. You can make lines, circles, squares, etc. and control the spacing.
