I have 34 led lights mounted on a 30' square truss. All addressing has been checked and cable connections checked. All I can get is blue truss lighting. Profiles have been used in the past and work well with the fixtures. All DMX cables have been kept way from power cords as much as possible. I don't have a line terminator, could that be an issue. I pretty certain that the software is performing OK. My dongle lights appear normal and #D visualizer work fine. Any help in trouble shooting. The only control I have is blue on when I select a preloaded macro and off when I select INIT. I am also running the daisy chain through two VIZI moving head fixtures. Could funning the VIZI's in line with LED par cans cause a problem. All same type lights are on separate pages. Any suggestions? Thanks I have an MMA show tomorrow night.

34 lights seems a bit much on a single run. I would recommend the following:

1: I always recommend a terminator, but this along is most likely NOT the problem. However, how long is your total cable run? Along with that, how long is your run from your interface and your first fixture?

2: I recommend(again, always) the inclusion of an Elation Opto Branch/4 or Multi-Branch/4. I own the Opto Branch 4. I don't think the Compu SD-series of interfaces have the lower signal strength output that the MyDMX hardware has. Regardless, for me, the Opto Branch 4 is a necessary bit of hardware for multiple reasons.

Sorry for the lateness. I had a gig the 28th, 29th and 30th. So I was a bit busy.

1: Make your lights with a bit of console tape or even gaff tape, write the address of the fixture ont it as to what it SHOULD be. Confirm this in Compu Show. Mismatch? Figure where you're going to move stuff.

2: Adding the VIZI fixtures into the middle should make no difference.

3: Do adding the VIZI spots stop anything after them from working? What about the VIZI spots alone on the line?

Divide and conquer.
