Need some advice

I'm a DJ and I've been looking into getting a DMX controller.

I have 6 intelligent lights, 6-10 channels each, and 8 par cans.

First I was looking into getting the DMX Operator Pro, but I'm not sure it can do what I want it to do

Simple example, a chase with 4 scenes:

- Scene 1

Let 1 intelligent light run an internal macro/chase for 4 seconds

- Scene 2

Some par can combination

- Scene 3

Another intelligent light, 2 seconds

- Scene 4

Another par can combination

I want to step/trigger the chase using Audio, except some scenes which I want to run for certain amount of time.

I've read manuals online and I'm not sure DMX Operator Pro can do this. Looks like Show Designer 1 would be fine since you can specify "No Beat" for any given chase.

Am I correct that DMX Operator Pro is not able to do this!?

Any suggestions what to buy?

It sounds like your best bet would be a Show Designer, However, if you want sound triggers like from a CD, you would have to get a completely different controller all together if you are talking "sound active" then the Show Designer will work for what you want
