In This forum you can discuss tips, tricks, and troubleshooting for Elation's Next Generation Compu Live software, "Compu Show".

Running Win 7 with Compu Show
Have tried both installing USB before and after installing the Compu Show software. No difference: "No interface detected" when loading the program.
Controlpanel>System>Device Manager>USB-controller shows:
"Intelligent Usb Dmx Interface (SIUDI8C, 32/64bits)"
What Can be the problem
Original Post
Yes I have. Tools for USB-DMX interfaces reads:
SUITE2-BC (1024) Firmware 1.08.

No. Interface not connected
I have noticed during setup, when installing drivers only one driver is being installed.
See this screenshot - only one green checkmark.
According to manual there must be two check marks. True?

Have also tried to install the program in XP compatible mode and in Windows 7 mode. Makes no difference what so ever.
I have two laptops running Windows 7. Same behavior on both. Software AND the same USB interface runs fine with no problem on my XP workstation.
just received the "Compu Art SD" today.
load the software "Compu Show beta"
run the installation without the USB plug-in.
after software successfully installed, plug-in the USB and start the "Tool.exe"
Able to transmit DMX via the "Tool.exe" GUI.
update the firmware to 1.19
After which start the "Compu Show beta"
but could not get the interface connected.....

Help....

Denis,
The Compu Art does not support CompuShow software....it is a stand alone interface that runs Easy Stand Alone software OR the Art1024 software

ELATION SHOW COMPU SDE 2013 WITH THE NEW SOFTWARE BETA
hello,

you might have to update the firware on the interface.

C:\CompuShow Beta\tools.exe

in this file you should be able to update the firmware, once you have the firmware updated you should be able to connect to the software.
i just made this run the website you give me and say :
There is no compatible hardware connected
Plug a USB-DMX interface
?
try going into your C drive and access the TOOLS.exe file. see if that recognizes the interface, if it does go into firmware and see if maybe it needs to update the firmware.

C:\CompuShow Beta\tools.exe

let me know if this worked.
Nothing Happen , i tried both ways , and also i tried intall the software in another computer , Software from internet first and later with the interface connected
ok how old is the interface? there is a possibility that the unit is no good.
you can find the firmware update in the tools.exe file in your C: drive. in your C:drive you need to look for the compu show folder, then the Tools.exe file.
i have instal the new compuschow last relase. 6-12-2013.
but now doesnt work my interface....
im use the COMPU CUE BASIC.

excuses me for my bad english...

someone who speaks Dutch mail me:
zwiers_harold@hotmail.com
yes that link I downloaded. 've tried a lot but nothing helped, including the "tool" I think it is in the drivers. I can possibly put the old drivers in the program?

Gr Harold
No probleem thad no of you one speak Dutch
Can you tell me the serial number off the sticker on the side of the interface? The sticker with the number to call for support? Or, when did you buy this?
the interface itself is not a sticker.
on the circuit board is called a code:
siudi8 V1.1
The interface is just 1 year old
