Programming in edit mode

I am using the 2006 version. Where can I find info about how to program in the various tabs in edit mode? I am pretty familiar with Easy Step, but none of the other tabs, such as Easy Time, Chaser and X-Fader. Are they any examples of what these are used for and how to use them?
