But that is still using 3 clicks, two for on and one for off. I have other switches in their own compressed group that when one is on, i hit another switch, say to change from red to blue.

The red turns off and the blue one turns on seamlessly. Now on some switches when i have blue on then hit the red switch it turns purple since both switches are on, i then have to release the blue to make red.

make sense?

I have compared the button settings for both and could find no difference at all, perhaps its something on the page setting?

We are using a CTX 17" touch screen that is working pretty good but it does take some abuse, that's why i am trying to set up most of everything on the keyboard. However since there are multiple users i need to make it as user friendly as possible. I know that it seems impossible but not everybody are LD's like us! so i have most everything on the master page as there is only so much real estate in 17inches. I am looking at 20nch and larger for an upgrade.

Look at spending around 300 to 400 for a decent one. If you can though make it as large as possible!
I use the touch screen to hit scenes and the keyboard to flash switches. That gives me 8 fingers to make 8 separate changes simultaneously as i see fit. although sometime too i just set a scene and make a change or two and leave it

hmmmm..that gives mean ideas to make more room. I can move certain groups of switches over to the fixtures page close it but still use the keyboard button that was setup for those switches right?

Thanks

Mark
I think it works great! I use ours in conjunction with the keyboard. I suggest using it for everything. Hell we need to get a larger one maybe even two and run dual monitors. we want ti get a LED keyboard as well. One with lighted keys. This one, http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/a85c/ I would love the optimus maximus but i can see spending $1500 on a keyboard.

I digress...Get a touch screen.
