American DJ Mega Pixel LED Help

I am trying to use the Mega Pixel LED in DMX 28 channel mode, but I'm not able to control much of anything in Compu Live (latest version). I have it addressed correctly, and it's in 28 channel mode. I'm also using the latest profile. When I build a new page and it asks me to Enable, only the first three lights illuminate. Once it's all built in, I have very limited functionality. RGB mixing only works with the first three LED "positions", i.e. the first set of Red, Green, and Blue LED's.

I've tried building a 28 channel profile with the Scanlibrary Editor, but the manual only shows the first 7 channels. Are these 7 channels supposed to be repeated 4 times for 28 channel mode? That doesn't seem right.

Also in the manual, channel 5 is split into two possible functions. Is this supposed to be a choice I can make?

Lastly, I've tried this on two different fixtures, and each of them works fine in stand alone mode. Note: I am not hooking both up at the same time.

Please help! I've been stuck on this issue for 4 days now and I've got better things to be doing!

it's nothing your doing it is the profile creator software and a limitation on both. when the software was first built there wasn't any multiple RGB LED fixtures. so in the creator it is not allowed. The way to get around this is to use 8 Generic RGb profiles in the generic folder and then i can make you a 4 channel profile with just the last 4 channels of the 28 channel mode functions. You will then have to add a set of 8 generic RGB profiles into the software and then at the address where those 8 left off you will have to patch in the custom 4 channel profile I'll make for you. Then you will have full RGB control and effects and access to the shutter/dimmer channels on channels 25-28. Make sense?

oh it's very simple. Basically you use 8 of the generic RGb profiles in the generic folder and generate that page. The RGB page should use 24 channels. now you patch in the profile I emailed you at the starting address where the RGB page left off. It's not the greatest but you will have a page for dimmer strobe and macro's and then a page with the individual RGB sections. however in the scene editor in the master page all this will look like one fixture. Make sense? If not let me know.
