I am trying to archive a page that has groups assigned to buttons. When I go to Page/Save Archive and click "OK" to archive the "selected page" and navigate to the old file. It will ask me to confirm the overwrite. Once confirmed the file saves. However, when I open the archived file it DOES NOT retain the groups assigned to the buttons. The little "s" is gone. Am I doing something wrong?

Please help!

James and John,

James:
Not sure how I can elaborate more. I went through the steps to save a "page" but here it goes.... I goto: Page Menu/save archive. The save archive window opens with options. I keep the option, "selected page". Click "OK" and navigate to the old archived file (i.e. page) to save the new file. I overwrite the old file with the new file. Then to test the results, I delete the "page" in Compu 2006 and reload the page (I just saved) back into Compu 2006. When the page (I just saved) loads it does NOT have the groups assigned to my buttons indicated by the little "s". They are gone. The only way I can save a page with my groups assigned to the buttons is to CLOSE Compu 2006 and then open it again. After this, I can go through the steps to save my work (i.e. the page and all its properties) and it WILL save as expected. That is, it keeps the groups that were assigned to my buttons. Hope you understand now - Thanks!

John:
How do I send the file to you? Do I do this through the forum or just in email, send space.com...?
hi md. i've been waiting on your e-mail.

I understand what you are saying but I need to see your file.
save either the show or the archive.
If you say you are already archiving, then simply archive a page with your set groups and e-mail it to to
john at elationlighting dot com. i'm spelling out my e-mail due to spam issue.

send to me asap.
