I noticed that my pages DO NOT backup unless I close Compu Live and then reopen it. This actually just caused me to loose a lot of work. Is there a way to make sure the pages backup without closing and reopening?
How are you saving your show? The best way to save it is go to controller then select save the show. Then select your save file destination (usually you may want to keep it in the SL2006 folder but you are free to save to desktop or anywhere). Also if you are in beginner mode use expert mode. Let me know if any of this helps or if you have any questions. Sincerely,
James, I'm trying to save the fixture pages to back them up, not shows. I did find that when I click "save archive" and delete the old file that it will save the new one without closing, reopenting and saving the page. It seems it just won't save over the old file, that is replace it. I have to delete the old file and then save the new one.
James, that's interesting because when I select the same archive file and save over it, it saves okay. But if I remove the page from Compu Live and then open that archived file it is still the old one, not the new one.
Did you try removing the page and then reopening the one you saved?
