Hello! I'm new to lighting and only learning it in a volunteer capacity but I looked through the manual and couldn't find a way to do this so I thought I'd try here:
Our setup in case it matters: We have a Scene Setter 24. We have white can lights on 4 dimmer packs (9 cans, channels 1-9) and some DMX lights (right now 4 DMX lights taking 4 channels, 2 on 15-18 and 2 on 19-22. This will soon be replaced by all 4 of those being on channels 21-24 and new lighting that takes 7 channels being on 13-20, Lord willing.) We also have a DMX splitter we use coming out of the board - when we started programming after adding the DMX lights we sometimes got spastic blinky happy lights. We set the DMX lights to go through the splitter instead of from the end of the run of dimmer packs and that fixed it.
All that to say: We've programmed whole scenes - white lights and colored lights. We've programmed just the colored lights and run the white lights manually... But is there a way to program SEPERATELY the white lights as one scene and the color lights as another scene and then have the two scenes COMBINE rather than show one then the other, etc, etc? I'd love to pre program on say page 1 let scenes 1-4 be our variations of white lights (Black, Worship Set, Sermon time, and entering-time) and then use 5-12 to have color lights preset. Our goal is to make it really easy for volunteers to come in and run, but still have the highest quality service we can.
So short question: Can we combine scenes instead of having them chase on the Scene Setter 24?
