DMX 20L

Hi, if I understand your question correctly; You address the packs to occupy either 1, 2, or 4 DMX channels of Dimmer control. You can't say for example patch dimmer 1 at address say 13, and then dimmer 2 at address 20 on the same pack. Does this make sense? The addressing for each pack is linear.
Or am i not understanding your question? 

Simply, for an RGB led you would address 1 as the house, ch 2 as red, ch 3 as green and so on.  The next series of led would be the same starting at 8 on the dmx.  What I want to know is can I assign say dmx 10 as channel 1,dmx channel 2 in sequence for incandescent lamps, since there is no sequencing in the lamps.  Just on or off fading.  I get the 1, 2 or 4 channel choices on the packs.

Hi, I'm not sure what "House" is referring too, maybe Dimmer, as in Dimmer, Red, Green, Blue? That would be 4 channels.
But either way whatever the packs are set too, that is what you will have for addressing in a linear format.
If your console lets you assign fixture IDs for grouping, then you can change things around to how you see fit.
