MIDICON set up Mac

I just bought emulation and a midicon controller. I am running emulation 1.03 build 26 and OS 10.6.6.

I've got everything connected and powering up, but the midicon is not sending MIDI to emulation. I see the midicon is online in the audio/midi setup.

Also I opened an audio recording software and see the MIDI is getting into the computer.

Any idea why emulation and midicon aren't talking?

In emulation go to options and then go to midi and midi con is listed as the output device and is selected in the map section?

I had got that far.

I actually figured out what my problem was - I had the midi input set to a different port - which brings up another question.

I was playing back audio from pro tools and timing the lighting cues to it. I was routing the midi beat clock along with my playback sequence internally to emulation through the apple IAC midi port. I want to be able to still do that but also use the midicon.

I can set up another MIDI input in Pro tools to receive the live controller signal and route the output to the IAC out, but it would be possible to use multiple MIDI in ports in emulation? As far as I can see there is only one, but maybe in a future build?

At this time there is only one midi input.
