I have an odd question. I'm using CompuShow SDE on a Windows 7 computer. I use "easy show" to timeline DMX with videos. My one complaint I've always had is that I can only use .avi videos... .mp4 is not supported.

I'm thinking about using a Mac and running Windows Parallels and install Compushow. Will this work? And second, how will this effect the video output to the projector?

It's not that .mp4 doesn't play on Windows, it does, we haven't coded .mp4 support into Easy show. A virtual machine won't gain you any advantage, in fact we don't really support VMware, it'll work, but we cannot help troubleshoot it.
