Can I controll my Compu 2048 FC+ with a Showdesginer 2cf?

Yes.. that's the main purpose of the DMX in on your Compu 2048FC+. You can go DMX out from the SD2 and dmx into the compu.

In the Page settings you will find trigger option.
you can play with these options to get dimmer, speed and cycle control.
In the button settings you will also find a trigger option.
There you will find a dmx input check box..
you can also play with this to have dmx trigger control.

If you create a blank scenes you can patch dmx channels from SD2 to Compu live. Here you will have a Power and "Rec" function.
The purpose of this is to play your SD2 Scene or show then the Compu live records in real time.
I have never attempted to use this function, but this is your shot to give it a try and let me know how it works.

To my knowledge these are the only options you have.

Jingles.. you should also be able to hook up your DMX operator pro to yours and see how it works.

op got shorted out a long time ago remember? backwards usb lite into the usb port? fried it. BIG mistake i wont be making again. HAHA!

NICE!! I will try that this evening, I was shuttering about the thought of re-creating the shows scenes again.!!!! So Could I also always have the show designer connected to the "IN", on the 2048 FC, and the out to all of my fixtures all the time? And this may be a stupid question, but If I use DMX triggering, do I have to setup another DMX address in another universe to control "the action"? Or dose it just listen for the same channels I am already using ? If that makes sense?

you can always have your sd2 hooked up. but i don't recomend using the same channels for triggering as you will be using to record your scenes.. Funky stuff will begin to happen.

1. record your scenes.
once they are on the compu program then use the SD2 for triggering. but record you scenes 1st.
