I am having the same problem getting a Windows 7 Pro to see a Compu Club 04 interface using Compu-live. I have tried all the suggestions you have listed. It works fine on my other laptop?
I installled the dropbox and everything and when I opened it appeared on my screen that I should update the firmware it said write firmware press firmware tab, and press write firmware and so I went to tools and I pressed on firmware and write firmware and I clicked on it and it said there is no compatible hardware connected.
So could you please help me get the software going?

The compu pro 04 interface will NOT work on ANYTHING 64 bit. Sorry.
Chucky, please try to unplug the interface and then plug it back into the computer. Also when you use tools please make sure the compu show program is not running at all.

I downloaded the software you sent me and when I checked the windows and it does see the interface but the tools from the compu show does not see the interface it says no hardware has been detected and in the software compu show it says no interface.
Does the seriasl number from the interface have to do with the installation of the software because i am not putting the serial number to my software.

No, you don't need to put in any serial number.
So windows detects the interface fine but the program does not? Also you are never running tools with the compu show program open at the same time right? Because the USB driver cannot be split between two programs at once. One needs to be closed and not running in the background for the other to see it.
I would try to see if tools will detect it with just the tools app running and try updating the firmware if it does.

I dont know why the interface is not oppening with the software I tried all the ways that you told me its as it seems that the interface is locked

You have a compu cue right? What windows OS are you using? Windows 7 or vista 64 bit?
Can you try it on a different computer? I am not seeing any reason why it should not work. If you can try it on a different computer and it still does the same thing then I think it might be a service issue.

I have windows 7 64 bit it is a brand new hp laptop I thnk maybe it is the software that might be made for a different interface such as compue cue or compu sd the one I have is compu cue basic

But no the software I linked you to is for the compu cue basic, compu cue, compu SD interfaces.
It should work on windows 7 64 bit.

I havent gotten the interface to work yet because I went to software preferences from the compu show software the computer does read it but the software does not detect it.
