Compu Show Art Net feature

Hi all,
Compu Show newbie here.
Can somebody clarify the art net feature of Compu Show?
I thought it allows wireless connection to the interface ( both computer and the dongle connect to a router)so you can send DMX commands via WIFI?

artnet is a form of sending dmx over a network to a node that then breaks out the artnet back to dmx
