Hello I want to kind of do a run down of the issues I'm having so that you maybe able to help me out.
I currently have 18 par 64 LED fixtures (Venue)
I have 2 intimidators (chauv)
2 mega strip LED (chauv)
2 moving heads
1 dimmer pack with 3 par 64 cans (elation)
1 Fogger hurricane 1800 (chauv)
I would estimate that our distance is 275 feet of dmx cables.
I have bought the opto branch dmx booster and splitter.
I am running emulation on a mac mini. I have updated to the most current version and I am running snow leopard.
The problems that I am facing are
1. Lights flicker like a really slow strobe pulse.
2. Not all lights will allow you to control them.
3. Basic functions like black out do not work properly.
I am fluent in dmx addressing and we are currently running everything off of our original 12 fixture elation board. Any thoughts ideas or comments on how to get everything up and working?
