haze controlling

Hi, I have a question. I am trying to make my Hazer LaMaitre Neutron XS to be controlled ( in terms of turning on and off)by a foot control. I was told to get a DMX mixer to sort this. So I bouth a Pulse DMC-6 6 channel DMX controller and connected them with a XLR cable. And here we are. What to do next. I have thought I needed to assign one of the channels to the hazer but I dont know how to do it.
Any ideas?

Hello Anders,
i looked up the Hazer that you have and found that it is actually not DMX controlled by plugging DMX directly into the unit. There is an external "DMX Module" that you can get that controls the Hazer, that you can use as stand alone or DMX. Here is a link to what i found, I hope this helps

OK so noe eventually Ive got the DMX module. Took weeks and weeks to get. But still I am dummy and confused. The connection to the hazer is done with a standard 3 pin XLR cable but the in/out to the foot controller ( That's what I want) is 5 pin XLR jacks.
Where should I go next in order to be able to turn on and off the Hazer with a foot controller?

if the in/out on the haze controler is 3pin, and your control to trigger is is 5 pin....you can pick up a 3-5pin jumper at a local guitar center or other audio/lighting stores
