I'm hoping someone here has encountered this issue and discovered the fix. The venue I am helping out has several 15Rs that have begun randomly lamping off after about an hour of use. At first, they could be reset and lamped back on from the console and would continue working for several hours. This workaround has been used while I find time to perform repairs around the performance schedule, so they are not getting the immediate attention they need. When I have gotten two on the bench, I installed new thermostats, head temp sensors, fan PCBs, Ballast fans, pan/tilt pcbs, lamps, and head fans. Also checked for continuity on lamp wires from power supply to lamp and metered. Nothing seems amiss. Tech support suggested replacing displays but I do not have new ones, so I swapped for what I hoped was a good one. Power fixture on, allow to home, and manually lamp on. Lamp ignites. Wait 5-10 seconds, fixture resets and as it finishes resetting, lamp douses. Anybody got any suggestions?
