I've got a couple of questions regarding external MIDI controllers in CompuLive.

First, is it possible to use 2 controllers simultaneously? I am currently using a MidiCon to control various immediate effects, but I wanted to get another console to call scenes..

Second, would a controller such as the APC 40 or Launchpad work with CompuLive?

Thanks!

Thebadmanor, Welcome to the forums.
I am told you can use two midi controllers with compu live at the same time. I have never done it myself but I believe it should work. give it a try.

I do have the APC 40 midi map made. But not all of the functions are mapped. If you would like for me to send it to you let me know.
We do not have a midi map for the Launchpad.
Sincerely,

Here is a link to download the .zip file that contains the midi map for the apc 40: http://db.tt/FsLYwl
download the zip file to your desktop and then open up a window to the c drive/SL2006/common/Console folder. once you have the console folder open, open the zip file and copy the entire contents of the zip file into the console folder. close both windows when done and launch the compu live program. that's it.
Sincerely,
Thanks for the MIDI mad for the nanoKontrol2. I copied and pasted the files as you directed into the \SL2006\commons\Console Folder and it appears in the list when I click on console, but the actual device doesn't seem to be corresponding with that console. Compu Live is receiving MIDI data from the device, and the device was working correctly using the Behhrenger Big 10 presets console. Reset the device to factory settings and still can't get it to correspond using the nanoKontrol2 map you just made. Any ideas?
I installed the previously posted APC40 console profile into my COle folder as directed previously in this thread. I plugged the APC 40 in and out of the box the APC40 shows connects and if you click on MIDI TEST you get a response from moving knobs/faders. but when you open the APC40 MIDI MAP it shows no response. Any ideas? The quick start guide that comes with the device states something about a "generic mode" although it doesn't state and I cannot figure out how to put the device into "generic mode"
