We are migrating from using Elation's CompuLive to Emulation on the Mac. Can we use our existing COMPU 2048FC box via usb to control the Emulation software? We tried just hooking it up but the software didnt recognize the device. Is there some step we are missing or is the device even Mac compatible? Do we just need a driver or something to make it work?

Compu Live and Emulation are two entirely developed programs. The USB to DMX interfaces will not work on the others software. So no you cannot use the 2048 interface on the Emulation program. Just like you would not be able to use the Emulation cue cable on the Compu Live software.
