Console flickering erratically

Hi, I am getting acquainted with stage lighting in an amateur theatre group and we have a Scene Setter 24-48 which has all of a sudden begun flickering all over the board in a totally erratic way. It is also sending out signals in the same way (lights flicker on and off in correlation to the board flickering, both LED and incandescent lights). Our tech guy says the board is dead and we need a new one, but being the same guy who would sell us a new one, we want a second opinion.

I opened it up and can't see anything obvious, like a mouse chewing on cables which is what it looks like is happening. Ok, only joking but really, I can't see anything obvious.

Any pointers as to what might be causing this?
