Default File Location

Is there anyway to change where the program stores all its files on a Mac? Right now it stores everything at ~/Elation on the main hard drive. I would like to move this to an external drive that has all my other DJ stuff on it.

I know I can save the show XML file on the external drive, but that doesn't move my eBuilder files and the configuration files.

I use a different computer for all my programming and music sorting. When I go out on a gig then I take the external drive with me to use the laptop.

I am comfortable editing XML and .plist files directly if that is what is required. I am also comfortable with Terminal.
