Have a Design Spot 250 Pro, with a display that will read "Hot" from time to time. Fixture will not lamp on, do not have any control over tilt. What am I missing here?

I'm a fairly new user of these... If the display shows HOT does it indicate if that's the base or head temp? Also, what is the Lamp Off at Temp setting? If the actual head temp is at or higher than that the lamp will turn off until the temperature goes below that. I can't think throught the logic of Lamp On at Temp at this time. Also remember that the Phillips 250/2 lamps are not Hot Strike type. You must wait at least 15 mins before attempting a restrike. I believe venue temp will affect that. Corrections anyone?
sounds like you might have a bad fan in the head of the fixture. The fan keeps the light cold and not over heat does the fan come one when there is power? you can hear it running.
