Design Spot 300 issues

Hi I'm a college student and the acting Master Electrician for our theatre. We just bought four Design Spot 300 pro's and were having trouble getting them to listen to our ETC Ion control board. We can get them to lamp on and from there they seem to run a test program and we have zero control over them. Any suggestions would be helpul. Thanks.
