Design Spot Pro 250 Tilt Error

I am getting a tilt error on a DSP 250. I BELIEVE I checked the sensor--at the bottom of the yoke, running between the wheel? Is this magnetic or optical? One thing I'm reading is to "Check to make sure the magnet is present"--where would the magnet be located? Any other advice? Compressed air on the sensor didn't help..

Actually, I'm seeing there are TWO sensors, right? Magnetic on top, optical on bottom? How can I determine which one is the problem? I have 3 other Matching Lights, and could swap out sensors to test, but I'm concerned that would mess with calibration. Would this be an issue?

hello, when the error occurs does the head "vibrate" as it hits the tilt stop? if so then
it most likely is the optical sensor. try adjusting first. simply loosed the screws on the sensor and push it up until it bottoms out on the detection gear. then back off just enough for the wheel to clear. tighten and retry. if error persist then replace the sensor.
