Dimmer Packs

I've just installed a two DP-640 dimmer packs, using the emulation control software! In the software it does not list the DP-640, so I used a different model that was in the list! Is that the reason I can't control any of my lights, or is there some other issue I should be looking at?

for the DP 640 find the Generic library and select dimmer 06X.

Thanks, That's awsome your so close! I put that in the software, still no change. I've never worked with the emulation software, only lighting boards! Do you like the software or the controlers better?

i am a software guy for sure. I use emulation,compu live,compu show,ART 1024, etc. Those are all Software programs for lighting control.

Are the packs set up right? Like correct addresses? Is the Cue cable detected? Are you on a Mac or Windows? If windows which version?

I believe the packs are set-up correctly, the software told me what address to assign to each pack and light! The Cue cable is detected, on the packs the dmx light flashes. I can't get power to the fixtures when using the sliders on the software. I'm running windows vista.
