I have an issue with the 'DMX out' plug on a Design Spot 250. If I put any (I have tried several) lead into the DMX out of the DS250, I lose control of ALL the devices in the chain. I have 2 * DS250's, + 6 LED devices. They basically going into 'demo' mode & subsequently unusable for shows. It does not make any difference if the lead is connected to the next device, or not. There is no problems at all if I have nothing in the DMX out of the DS250. The DS250 is the last in the chain on the lighting bar of my church, but then goes on to the stage area, so I subsequently cannot use anything here. Any ideas !

Did the unit work before?

Is it in slave mode? Maybe turn the fixture on and then select "Address" which would then put it in DMX mode.

Did you make sure you've selected the correct channel profile?

Check to see if you your LEDs aren't making the problem, they might be in a certain mode which will cause the issue.

How do you connect the fixtures?

Mover -LED-LED-LED-LED- Mover -?

Try these things.

Hopefully it works.
i have noticed that many knock off brands bought online from china tend to cause major issues with all types of lights.....if these are they types of LEDs you have, i would sujest getting a data splitter/isolator and having the LEDs on there own data line seperate from the movers.... this would isolate the data issues they cause and you would have full control with no errors.
