DR-512 Questions

I'm considering various DMX recorders and I've been through the manual for DR-512 and I'm still unclear on a few points:

I see that the unit can record and playback 4 sequences with internal memory, but how does Elation define a 'sequence'? Realtime recording of 512 channels for 5 minutes? Realtime recording of 99 channels for 2 minutes? It really is quite vague.

I didn't see anything about looping sequences. Does the unit do this by default or is there a setting to enable or disable this feature?

Once recorded, can playback be modified in any way...specifically speed of playback?
