Problem with DS 250 PRO Lamp on.
I have 16 installed in a club in Denmark, they have been running for 16 months now and they are being serviced 1 a month. After I changed a lamp in one of the fixtures ( assumed a broken lamp ) and used Light jockeys Lamp On Command the fixture would just not Lamp On. Restarted the system, waited for 30 minutes, with all the fixtures selected I used the Lamp on fixture (15 out of the 16 was Working). To my big surprise, all that happened was 2 more fixtures Lamped Off.
I have tried almost everything with the 3 fixtures, Reset, Change Lamp, default settings, stand alone mode. Nothing I do makes it Lamp On.
I Really need some help here.

Hey Nick and welcome to the forums.

Have you tried manually striking the fixtures on at the fixture? If you have and they still don't, there is another issue. If they do, its a patching/profile/signal issue.

Make sure the shutter is open when you issue the lamp on command. I am pretty sure the shutter needs to be open for the lamp on command to be received.

You mights also try connecting the fixtures one at a time to the dongle and see if that helps. If it does, then its a signal issue. Double check the shutter and manually striking the fixtures and let us know.
Its on the fixture for sure then. I assume since you are in Europe you are using 208v correct? I would check to make sure the fixtures you have are the correct voltage. Since it has been working for a while now, I will assume that is not the case.

Sounds like it could be the igniter in the fixtures. They just aren't striking so it leads me to believe that is the case.

At 16 months, if purchased new, I would call Elation in Europe ASAP. Warranty is for 730 days or 24 months. They should be able to ship you the parts if you are mechanically and electrically inclined. If you are wary in the slightest, however, don't attempt it yourself because you risk damaging the fixture, hurting yourself, or quite possibly death, especially when working in a 208v situation.
