I recently purchased an Elation Compu Cue Basic and Windows 7 will not recognize it. I have tried using the downloaded drivers from the Elation site, and it still does not work. Any ideas out there?

I got the new bet from Arnoldo. I think my interface was bad. I sent it back and I'm waiting for a new one. Hopefully I don't have the same problem.

I received my brand new Compu Cue basic today and I have the exact same problem. Windows will not recognize it, and when I try to point it to the new drivers it will not work.
The software I am using says the Aug 9 2013 Beta version.

that is an old version of software. you need to update it.
OK - I know what my problem is, I just don't know how to fix it!
The July 2013 version of the software works, but my Elation Midicon's first wheel will not tun completely when using that version. If I update the Suite2 file given to me, my Midicon will function perfectly (according to the software) but the software will not send a signal to my lights.
July 2013 version = Working lights, bad midicon wheel
August 2013 version = No lights, working midicon
Any fix for this? I would really like to have both working.

It allows me to map to the wheel, but it won't turn backwards. Even when just viewing the console on the program it shows the wheel turning forward and not backward.

when you go into the wheel it should allow you to change the setting to increase/decrease then adjust the slider to the middle so that you can go back and forward with the wheel.
That is not the issue. I can change the wheel to any setting and it will spin forward only. I tried a different Suite2 file last night. The lights worked with it until I touched the first wheel, then they would no longer respond. What is different about the 1st wheel, or is this just a programming glitch?
i checked it and you can change the setting to go back and forward or just one way or the other. you just need to go in the setting and change it. no glitch in the software.
