Well, I'm not up to speed on all Elation products. I'm having too much fun with Compu Show!
I don't know. It seems a bit too limited in channels for me, so if you've got a rididly fixed system that uses less than 64 total channels, it seems like it would work. For a small club or a really simple system, it would probably be fine. The assignable joystick is the real cool feature, but so is the remote trigger for certain foggers, which helps save you from burning DMX channels.(usually just one channel)
This isn't something I would be able to use these days. I've got too many wash lights that must be individually addressed(RGB mixing LED cans and other wash lights).
I'm pretty much sold on software, but Compu Show with an SD+ interface is a big investment. If you're using a small rig, don't jump right into Compu Show, get something like what you're looking at now.
