After several sessions with emulation, the software lost the browser-ID. Only the port is shown in the browser-setting (http://:8888). I can´t connect my smartphone anymore.
Frank have you tried manually entering a different port number in the settings on the emulation program? give it a try and let me know how it works. Welcome to the forums. Sincerely,
Yes, I can change the Portnumbers without problems. But the Browser-Window shows only the http://:"Portnumber". There is no ID anymore. Perhaps I have to change a subnet-mask but I don´t know where.....
Hey sorry one of our guys was on vacation. If Emulation does not show a valid IP address in the options->remote window then it's because the computer does not have a valid IP address. Please have the computer's settings checked to see the network connections are OK. Please note that Emulation looks up the IP address at startup, so first starting up Emulation and then fixing the IP address doesn't work.
Also, if you have more then one network adapter (like wifi + wired) it is random which adapter is used by Emulation. So I often switch off the WIFI if I want to be sure to be using the wired network adapter. Make sense?
