In your case I believe you want user. Also if you do not have a common folder please navigate too: /Users/user/elation/emulation/personalities/user

I was able to add the new profile with no problems. However I tryed testing a VENUE PAR 64 light with emulation. I matched the dip switches with what emulation suggested and the Light was not responding, is there a know problem with Venue PAR 64 and Emulation. Please advice.

Did you turn dipswitch 10 ON?

I tryed it on and off, and still it was the same issue.

Light just doesnt respond to Software.

Would this also be a problem that James posted, Would be it be a problem with the light profile? please let me know.

try using a 10 dimmer channel fixture
this gives you 10 dmx channels no profile.

if it works in this mode, then its a bad profile.
but if it still doesn't work you will need to get your light fixed.

I'm looking into this. Also this could be a problem that who posted?

ahh yes. Ok. Ya I still have not had time to actually change the profile. I plan on doing this in a little bit. Once I am done would you like to test it out on the actual fixture for me?

Try this one. The fixture i updated was the par 64 LED. Please place this in the User directory. do not put in the factory. One thing is the two custom faders. One is for the color macros on channel 4 and the other "CLCHG" is for the 3 and 7 color change functions on channel 6. Let me know.

Now it works. however the beam has no control over it it does nothing. colors work fine. Strobe effect is weak. maybe its the light. Venue par 64.

what do you mean has no control over the beam? Tell me channel by channel which works and which does not work. Thanks.

Can the Gobos be changed, I need to add one with a name, what the correct size of the gobo, please advise,
