I have two Focus Spot 250. Both are coded to A0.190 (if i have that correct? not in front of the unit at the moment)and upon turning the unit on one of the moving heads are automatically responsive while the other takes some time to warm up.

After 4 or 5 minutes that same unit will eventually start moving to sound however get stuck in one specific target for some time until moving on.

I am hoping its not an expensive fix? Does anyone know what the problem is. It works during sound activation however i think the sensitivity board needs to be replaced?

If anybody knows I would be happy to try to work on it myself or get it fixed by elation...

typically if a unit take a while to "home" the pcb is detecting some sort of an error and "rechecks"itself. remove the covers and inspect all the pcb. look for discoloration around the drivers. this can be a clue that the pcb is starting to go bad. also check all the sensors, make sure they are all dust free, if not make sure you clean them.
