I have just received my software. I have it loaded and communicating with my fixtures. I have a few cues / cuelists set up, but I am having trouble getting the global strobe to work. example I have a cue that is all propar 56 led cans that change colors. My thinking is that while I have them on one color I should be able to hit the global strobe button and make the propars strobe in that color. The strobe button doesn't even light up. Any help would be great. Thanks Mike

Try simply writing a new cue list in which all it does is tell the fixtures to strobe and nothing else. It is important when you write the list you don't change or touch any other values on the fixtures, just the strobe channel.

When you hit this list, the strobe should go on and when you release it, it should turn off. This is of course assuming the software is tracking and ltp software. Maybe Jingles or someone else can clarify that if if you aren't sure what I am talking about Mike.
The global strobe is only for dedicated strobe lights, not so much lights that have the ability to strobe. I think there is a work around though. Try creating a group with your 56s in it, and name it strobe. I am pretty sure that is how you tell the program that you'd like those fixtures to strobe as well.

Just a heads up. .
The global strobe rate is 100%, you can't change it.
Michael you are absolutely right. I had already figured it out. Also, you can create a group called blinder and put any fixtures in it you want like led pars or moving heads and the blinder button will make the lights full white when you press the button and off when you release the button. Now I am able to take my back line led pars and put some of them in a group named blinder and use that button. Awesome software. Wish they would implement followspot control and I'd be a happy camper!
