Magic 260 uploader installation problems.

Wanting to install profiles on a Magic 260 controller. I ordered both the U-link cable and Mem Stick. Neither came with an installation CD, although the package documentation says there should be one. I downloaded the u-link driver and uploader software from Elation site. Upon trying to install the software (Win2000), I get this error message:
"Setup cannot continue because some system files are out of date on your system. Click OK if you would like setup to update these files for you now. You will need to restart Windows before you can run setup again. Click cancel to exit setup without updating system files."

If I click okay the computer reboots but nothing is updated and the problem remains.
