Martin Roboscan 1220

Hello Everyone,

I recently acquired 4 Roboscan 1220 fixtures. These are the original version which will only run on Martin Protocol and not DMX512. They have two sets of 6 Dip Switches. Set A & set B.

I saw there was already a profile setup in Emulation, but haven't had any luck getting it to talk to my light. Just curious if I need to know anything about how the software communicates with the fixture?

Do I have to re-wire my cables? Old Martin fixtures used pin 2 as the positive lead instead of pin 3 like in DMX512.

Or do I use a converter to get Emulation to communicate with the 1220?

Please let me know your thoughts!

you might need to make a cable that does the polarity reverse on pins 2 and 3
