Hi everyone,

I am using Emulation on tour to run a floor package with movers, LED strips, and a couple of lasers.

I finally got a MIDICON controller which beats the heck out of using a keyboard but am having a couple issues:

1- this thing seems extremely oversensitive. When bumping through a cue list on one column (hitting play) it is way too easy to accidentally trigger / activate cues in neighboring sub columns (if a finger hovers on the inactive key/playback BUT does not depress the spring/button fully it still triggers from time to time). Is this just my model in particular perhaps?

2-my flash buttons don't seem to do anything. I thought this might bump to 100 percent intensity the cue I have written when depressing the button and release/turn off the intensity when releasing the button.

3- is there ANY way to just program pre set looks to the 32 faders in the upper right hand corner of console and use them like executors on a GrandMA? That would be awesome otherwise they seem somewhat repetitive.

THANKS JINGLES keep rocking it out! and if any of you have experienced similar problems with sensitivity or not please chime in.

1 more Q: Where can I buy the USB gooseneck lamp for the back? Can I just get a generic one off eBay )http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-LED-Light-Lamp-Lights-Gooseneck-Notebook-PC-/180831246870?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1a61da16)?

Hi.
1) Never experienced this my self. not really sure of the cause.

2) Is the cuelist on or off when you try the flash button?

3) Nope. The map is set. If you know how to edit XML coding you can adjust it to your liking.
If you don't like the MAP for the midicon for emulation, compu Show software lets you map the console yourself to any way you desire, but that is a separate program and interface/new purchase for you. And compu show is PC only.

Any standard LED USB gooseneck light should work.
Sincerely,
Hey Jingles,

1. Gotcha, just seems like a cue should only trigger once the MIDICON button is fully depressed if not 75%.

2. Off (was under the impression the flash would activate the cue in cue list hoggie style as I depressed button and release as I let go on intensity.) I may be programming it wrong to achieve the effect I'm looking for.

3. re: XML- so it IS possible to configure the 32 buttons on MIDICON in NE corner (not faders sorry)to trigger scenes/looks in Emulation via editing XML coding?

re: Gooseneck lamp - awesome
