New to Emulation - Basic Help ASAP | Elation Lighting Forums

Hi Everyone,

I just picked up Emulation with 4 Platinum 5Rs.. I was able to add the fixtures along with my uplights but I cannot figure out for the life of me how to record a scene.. I tried looking at the manual but maybe im being really ADD and couldnt figure it out.. Can someone point me in the way to how to set up shows and record them??

It is really simple. Just select your fixtures, adjust the DMX parameters the way you want the light to look. Then hit the "Record" button and then click one of the play or "GO" buttons that are above the faders and bam....you've just recorded your first cue.

Thanks for the reply but it did NOT work, I tried every step several times on 3 different laptops. Also the strobing features stopped working properly I get a stuttering flash rather than a bonafied strobing action.. need assistance asap.
