newbie programming questions

Im new to the lighting world and am pretty new to the whole DMX world. I have Emulation on a iMac and I am trying to set up a new system, I have a 4-ch DP415, 4-ADJ 64LED plus and 4- chauvet intimidator 250's, can anyone give me steps to setting up this? I cant get it to do anything...

Pretty much the same software, looks like elation just gave emulation a facelift. Follow this guys steps, if you dont know much about dmx, and setting addresses I would do some google searches, or find a retailer with someone who is knowledgeable.
