In This forum you can discuss tips, tricks, and troubleshooting for Elation's Next Generation Compu Live software, "Compu Show".

I'm using CompuShow SD. I am using a Venue 7 channel Par Can 64. I have tried numerous profiles and the one that seems to work best is the ADJ PAR CAN 64 LED pro 7 channel. All is well except there is no chase when I use the pre-programmed button. My question is, is there a channel alteration I can make, if so how do you do it ? I am guessing that I can build a chase in the Easy step part of the program. The Easy step is completely confusing to me. I have read everything in the Compushow manual but am still comfused as to how the the whole Easy Step process works. The manual is a little lacking in specifics. Hope I didn't confuse the issue, I guess I asked two question for one subject. Thanks for the help.

I would like to see what the OP is calling a chase.

I personally don't use chases, although I have made scenes with multiple TIMED steps. I still have learning to do though. I don't use chases because of the type of work I do doesn't really call for it. I'm not condemning steps. Since I'm working mainly with theater-type shows these days, or bands where I can run looping scenes or switches for some things(like color changes or other sequences, or solid washes), its not something I need. Even so, once I get through my next 3 gigs(April 28th freebie at a school, then big show on the 29th, bigger show at the same placed on the 30th), I get some time to relax and play with Compu Show more.
