Ok so I have it in there and just like the boy 600 original, The light will not come on... only in strobe mode.... I was hoping stobe at 100 percent would keep it on and it doesn't.... I really hate to ask this but can you add an iris to it? I tried another personality from a completely different light within genie and it came on with an iris... I am really sorry to ask

There was no iris mentioned in the manual. Unless you gave me an inaccurate manual?
Let me know. I'm taking a look at the shutter values.

Also hitting the shutter button should default the shutter to value 001 to open the shutter as 0-0 is closed and 1-7 is open, all you need to do is ensure the dimmer is up and on and also the zoom.
